Step 5 - Add Network Access rules

Important: Before Proceeding with this step please ensure you have completed Step 4: Configure SIP Trunking and that EasySBC is in a Running state.

Purpose of this step: In this step you will configure the Network Access restrictions required to prevent unauthorsied connections to the EasySBC.

Required for this step: 

  • IP Address(es) used by your SIP Trunk Provider
  • IP Address of you internal VoIP Call server

Navigation:  From the Home screen navigate to Settings, then under Device Configuration you will see the Firewall Setup option, select this option:

Next, enter in the IP Address(es) of your SIP Trunk Providers server. If more than one please use multiple lines.  The Port Range should be set to the SIP Port used, which is usually 5060. Then configure the Transport as configured under the EasySBC setup. 

Once completed you can add your Internal VoIP Call server address.  Below is a screen shot of a completed  configuration.

 

Hint: Once completed please verify that calls are still working by placing a few test calls, both inbound and outbound.
