Step 8 - Change Default Admin password

Important: Before Proceeding with this step please ensure you have completed Step 7: Add Email Alerting and that EasySBC is in a Running state.

Purpose of this step: In this step you will change the Admin password to prevent unauthorised access to the EasySBC system.

Navigation: From the Home screen navigate to Settings, then under Access Management you will see User Access.  Select this option and you will be presented with the following screen:

In the Password box for the user admin type in a new password and then repeat in the Confirm box.  Select Update and your password will be changed.

Note: Passwords require a minimum of 8 Characters with 1 uppercase, 1 lowercase and 1 number.

Once completed you are now ready to move onto Step 9: Testing
